Peter Poor

Producer and Director, son of artist Henry Varnum Poor

A very special Podcast with Director and Producer Peter Poor in New York City. We had the pleasure of chatting with him on two separate occasions. The son of The Murals artist Henry Varnum Poor. He talks about his life as a young filmmaker, his family life and recollections of his father, and more.

Some of the names the come up read like a who’s who of the 20th century. Burgess Meridith, De Sica, Cezanne and more. I posted the never seen before Man Ray family photos on the blog.

The project is about The Murals and his father Henry Varnum Poor, but Peter was very interesting and surprising in his own right.

His generosity and sharing of materials has helped shape the project, and I hope it helps get the word out about his famous artist father. A real treat!
