The Murals Documentary Soundtrack #2

More American Songbag Songs and original music
Artists on the Soundtrack

This Podcast features music from the soundtrack to The Murals Documentary. Henry Varnum Poor included Carl Sandburg in the murals project playing guitar. Carl Sandburg collected old Americana folk songs and published a book called “The American Songbag” in 1927. The songs were interpreted by the artists The Platinum Tears (which is the directors music project, that features TG Jamroz on Vox and Bass and other instruments and Josh Boisvert on Guitar), The Pickin’ Bubs, and Rick Nitz. Josh Boisvert also contributes an instrumental alternate original theme for the soundtrack and it is featured last on the podcast.

“Music is a very important part of this and other projects” according to director TG Jamroz. “Music is part of my history, and I love writing and recording. I think it adds so much atmosphere and style to any film or video project"

The hope is to get the soundtrack on Spotify and iTunes and all that good stuff, so you can download the songs. For now though, enjoy the music!
